Monastrell Release Party w/ Vertical Tasting

We have been sold out of our Monastrell for months and we are about to release the new 2014 vintage. Yay! Please join us at the tasting room the first weekend in October for a Monastrell celebration. This is our last vintage from beautiful Belle Colline Vineyard. :-( The vineyard is under new ownership and will no longer be growing our beautiful Monastrell grapes. To commemorate this last vintage, we are offering a very special vertical tasting of three vintages from our library and the new 2014 vintage; all four tastes for $5. 

Monastrell fans and newcomers to this unusual varietal, this event is for you! Monastrell is known by many names throughout Spain and France such as Mataro and Mourvedre. With juicy flavors of dark forest fruit, mission figs and blackberry tea, this wine is one of our favorites. If you're a fan of Cabernet Sauvignon, you're bound to like Monastrell.

Bring a picnic and enjoy our new picnic area under the big shady oak tree! The view from the middle of Terra Alta Vineyard is amazing.
