Wine Club Dinner in the Vineyard 2018
at Bokisch Home
August 11, 2018
6:00 p.m. Cocktail Hour
7:00 p.m Dinner
Liz Bokisch is planning our 10th annual "Wine Club Dinner in the Vineyard". This is one of Liz and Markus's favorite events! The dinner is held at their home in a beautiful setting next to their Las Cerezas vineyard. We have the privilege of getting the menu personally designed by Chef Mark Berkner of Taste Restaurant. If you haven’t been to Taste, then make sure you get your reservations soon! Taste is a fine dining restaurant located in the sleepy town of Plymouth at the gateway to the Shenandoah Valley in Amador County. Taste has received rave reviews and were even invited to serve at the James Beard House in NYC. The menu will be designed specifically to match the flavor profiles of the wine with the food. Each course will be paired with a Bokisch Family Estate wine. Dinner guests will be the first to experience our new exclusive bottling of Las Cerezas Vineyard fruit under our new Bokisch Family Estate label.
The eventing will start at 6pm with a poolside sangria and tapas hour. At 7pm we will sit under the stars and you will be served each course with it's special wine pairing. There will be an intermission between courses when they will pull out the "porron" and pass it along! At the end of the evening, we will light on fire a specialty fisherman's drink called "Cremat" which is spiced coffee and rum. This will be a night to remember!
Don’t forget to bring a light jacket, sweater or shawl as the delta breeze picks up it can get chilly towards the end of the evening.
The ticket price of $150 is all inclusive. Club members may purchase a maximum of 2 tickets. We are limiting seating at this dinner to allow for an elaborate menu, great service and time for visiting with all our guests.
