Our 2016 vintage is our fourth year producing a Malbec. This multi-layered wine has a deep dark purple hue to it. The nose opens up with aromas of blackberry, dried thyme, pumpernickel bread, fig and dusty earth. It graces the palate with blackberry juice, smoky blueberry, toasted vanilla with a savory briny conclusion. It finishes long and smooth with dry weighty tannins. Liz suggests pairing this wine with wild duck with blueberry reduction sauce.
