Seventeen of Lodi’s most popular wineries are celebrating International Tempranillo Day the second weekend in November, from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13, 2016. The Lodi Tour of Tempranillo is an event focused on tasting one of your favorite red varietal wines from a number of different producers in Lodi. Bokisch Vineyards will be pouring two vintages of our Tempranillo and many of our other Spanish varietal wines.

Lodi growers pride themselves on a diverse collection of wine grapes. As the Wine Enthusiast’s 2015 Wine Region of the Year, Lodi was recognized for that diversity and experimentation. Tempranillo may be well known among wine bloggers and Spanish wine aficionados (that includes you, Bokisch fans!), but it is just starting to attract the attention of the American consumer. Try something new, discover Tempranillo! Even if you're a fan of Tempranillo, we're sure you are going to discover something new about this versatile grape as you explore the offerings of these 17 tasting rooms.  

Visit any one of the participating wineries to collect a complimentary guidebook and begin your exploration of the Lodi Tour of Tempranillo. Each winery will have a different offering and many will offer special tastings only available at this event.
